Spring is right around the corner and, for a lot of us, that means it’s time to shake up our cooking routine. We’re starting to say goodbye to some of our favorite cold-weather dishes and replace them with ones that are just a little bit lighter and brighter.
One of my favorite things to cook throughout March and April is chicken burgers. They’re warm and satisfying like the wintry comfort foods we’re starting to leave behind, without being heavy. And, burgers (even ones cooked indoors on a stovetop grill pan) have a way of getting everyone in my family excited about grilling season.
I’m sure I’ll be cooking up more than a few better-for-you chicken burgers this spring, so I’m excited to tune into Catherine McCords’s free LIVE class on the Food Network Kitchen app this Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 8 p.m. EST. She’s grilling up mini chicken burgers with a really smart, flavor-boosting ingredient (that most of us have in our pantries right now): sun-dried tomatoes. She’s also tossing some Parmesan cheese into the mix, proving that it doesn’t take a ton of fancy add-ins to make a really delicious chicken burger. I can’t wait to see what other tips she’s sharing — and try them out at home.
If you’re planning to cook chicken burgers this spring, you don’t want to miss this class. It’s free to join (even if you’re not a Food Network Kitchen subscriber) and the perfect chance to pick up a few tips and tricks. And, don’t forget to bring your questions for Catherine — she’ll be answering some during the class!
