Giada's Cookies Are the Ultimate Last-Minute Gift
Whether you make a batch of her Double Chocolate Holiday Biscotti or Pignoli Cookies, it's sure to delight everyone on your list.

With every holiday season comes at least one "it" gift, the item that almost everyone has on their wish list — air fryers, Instant Pots, Tickle Me Elmo, you name it. But, there is one present that never receives this honor, nor any of the attention it deserves: the holiday cookie box. Let's change that this year.
Whether you're slicing and baking store-bought dough or intricately decorating a batch of sugar cookie cut-outs, you're putting time and effort (and love!) into this gift. Plus, no two cookie boxes are exactly the same, so you never have to worry that someone already has it. In fact, the opposite is true: The more, the merrier! Every year, my neighbor drops off freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, piled high on a paper plate and wrapped in aluminum foil. My dad's coworker sends him home with a bag full of gingerbread. My childhood best friend comes by the house with an assortment of Italian treats. Each collection of cookies is so different, yet all are hands-down a highlight of my holiday.
Want to start putting together boxes of your own to share with loved ones this year? Check out Giada de Laurentiis' newest course available in the Food Network Kitchen app. In Giada's Giftable Sweets and Treats course, she shares some of her favorite gourmet goods and edible gifts to bake and share — and there's something for everyone. Her chewy Pignoli Cookies and Spiced Chocolate Almond Bars are a great way to add variety to any holiday cookie box, and are especially perfect for anyone who follows a gluten-free diet. Her Cinnamon Kettle Corn is salty, sweet and ready in less than 15 minutes — the ideal recipe for anyone in a serious time crunch. Then, there's my personal favorite: Giada's Double Chocolate Holiday Biscotti. Twice-baked, these cookies are extra sturdy, so you don't have to worry about them falling apart in transit. This is especially clutch if you're planning to mail your holiday cookie boxes to friends and family. Studded with chocolate chips and boosted with orange flavor (the batter calls for both orange zest and orange marmalade), these crunchy cookies also couldn't be more delicious.
