This Restaurant Is Making Cadbury Crème Egg Croissants
They're the ultimate Easter pastry.

Anyone who said gooey, sugary, chocolate-coated Cadbury Creme Eggs weren't a good breakfast has never been to Petite Loulou. The bakery and crepe shop in Purcellville, Virginia, is filling croissants with the seasonal treats for an Easter-approved take on the classic pain au chocolat.

Inspired by owner Stefano Frigerio's son, who wished he could hide a contraband egg inside his chocolate croissant for double the sugar rush, the treat is an over-the-top combination of oozing sugar creme and melting chocolate in a golden pastry shell. Each has a full Creme Egg wrapped inside layers of house-made croissant dough, with a mini egg on top. There are only a dozen made each day, in two timed batches for maximal warmth and gooeyness. It's $5 and only available until April 5th. So make like a Cadbury bunny and hop to it.
