As editors, we pride ourselves on our savvy shopping, and like you, are often looking for more than just kitchen tools on Amazon. From holiday gifts to self-care solutions, we've found a few deals we just can't pass up. During quarantine, I’ve been learning how to deep fry everything from baras to cod, and my shallow cast-iron skillet just isn’t cutting it! I know it’s totally do-able to deep fry with a skillet, but I prefer the much deeper sides of a Dutch oven to minimize hot oil splashing. Plus, Dutch ovens can be used for a whole host of other things, from braising meats to whipping up Dutch babies. I figured I would have to splurge on a Le Creuset for a high-quality oven, but I was surprised to find that Lodge’s is up to par — and way more affordable.

I'm starting holiday shopping early this year — and wireless headphones with a solid mic are something everyone could use these days. For more than $100 off, these headphones are a steal, and Sony is known for quality sound, so I know they'll be perfect for my music loving friends and family.

A few weeks ago, I slept on an air mattress for a few days while I was painting and re-organizing my bedroom. To combat the cold coming in from the floor, I piled on so many blankets that I could barely move — and got some of the best sleep I’ve ever had. I’ve been wanting a weighted blanket ever since! This one has great reviews, and, with the discounted price, it’s the perfect time to snag it.

Now that my family is home more (and eating almost every snack and meal in the house) we’ve got a bit of a crumb situation. I sweep, steam and vacuum constantly — but my floors never stay clean for long. Everything from stray quinoa to rogue pieces of popcorn keep reappearing! That’s why I’m taking this opportunity to get a Roomba. Because it can tackle both carpets and hardwood floors, it’s perfect for our home. The fact that it will start cleaning with a simple voice command? That’s an added bonus!

As a new dog mom, I am eager to take advantage of all the sales on pet products this Prime Day, especially this great deal on the Furbo Dog Camera. I love the idea of being able to keep an eye on my dog while I’m away from home and feed her treats even when I’m not there. And, at nearly 50% off, it’s too good of a deal to pass up.

One fun thing about Prime Day is getting sucked into “sale-hunting mode” and noticing sales on other sites, too. Case in point, Thermoworks knocked 25% off the Thermapen MK4, their ultra-fast instant-read thermometer; it doesn’t go on sale often! It’s a crucial tool in my kitchen — its super-accurate temperature readings mean my chicken is never over-cooked. Plus its colorful design and sturdy construction make it fun and easy to use — I feel like a pro whenever I grab it.

There’s no better toddler water bottle than a CamelBak. It’s durable, easy to clean and leak-proof, plus it comes in adorable designs, which is half the battle of getting a little one to want to drink from one. (Water is more fun in a shark cup!) To save my having to search the house each time my son gets thirsty, I am picking up dedicated water bottles for his stroller, his car seat and mealtimes, all in a few different themes to keep it fun and keep him hydrated.

For the longest time, we’ve been wanting to update our toaster situation in our kitchen. The old 2-slice toaster that we snagged from my uncle a while ago just wasn’t cutting it anymore! I wanted to heat up more things in it besides the mundane slices of bread and the occasional bagel. That’s why I’m so excited for this Dash convection toaster-oven cooker! Not only does it toast, it also bakes, broils and air fries. What can't this toaster do?!

I’m a huge fan of colorful cookware and kitchen tools — just ask my mom. She now has a set of rainbow-colored mixing bowls, pastel-colored tea towels and neon-colored measuring cups thanks to yours truly. So, when I laid eyes on these jewel-toned knives from Cuisinart I knew I had to add them to our vibrant collection. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, the individual colors are an ingenious way for a beginner chef, like me, to keep track of what knife is being used to prep what ingredient when you’re in the middle of cooking. Each one in the set also comes with its own cover, so you won’t need to worry about them getting dull when you place them inside your knife drawer, either.
