What to Watch: A Weekend of New Adventure and Competition

This weekend, Food Network has a bunch of new episodes that capture the spirit of adventure, the willingness to try new things and the sense of competition.
On Saturday watch Barefoot Contessa and Giada at Home. Ina and Jeffrey travel through Napa Valley on their California adventure. Giada shows you how she likes to mix things up for dinner on Monday nights by going meatless.
On Sunday night, there are three competitions back-to-back. First, on Sugar Dome, different artists are challenged to create displays inspired by the '80s. On Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, the stars head to a farm outside of Hollywood to convene with the sources of the food they must cook. And on Iron Chef America, it's a rematch between Iron Chef Zakarian and challenger Chef Michael Chiarello, with special guest judge Neil Patrick Harris.
Ina and Jeffrey are headed to California. The first leg of their trip has them visiting Napa. Their first dinner is Chicken With Wild Mushrooms and Green Salad With Napa Vinaigrette. Then it's on to Robert Sinskey Vineyards to make Baked Goat Cheese. The evening ends with a casual supper featuring Jeffrey's Grilled Pork Chops With Green Beans Gremolata.
Giada makes meatless meals every Monday night at home, not only for the health benefits but for the benefit of the environment as well. She shares some of her favorite recipes like Avocado Hummus With Crispy Pita Chips, Lentil Burgers With Lemon-Basil Mayonnaise and Roasted Vegetable Tostadas With Chipotle Cream.
It's a trip back to the 1980s on Sugar Dome. Cake artists, sugar artists and graffiti artists must take on the challenge of reimagining the time of neon pants, big hair and loud music. The challenges will be grueling and filled with twists. The artists must create revolutionary displays that capture the decade. Only one can win the $15,000 prize. Actress Charlene Tilton guest judges.
In Episode 2, the celebrities head to Underwood Family Farms where they must gather ingredients to cook a fresh, farm-to-table dinner for the employees and their families and friends. The winning team will be determined by the guests. The bottom two celebrity contestants from the losing team must battle it out to determine who will go home.
After losing to Iron Chef Zakarian in The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs, challenger Chef Michael Chiarello seeks redemption in this Kitchen Stadium battle. The judges are Neil Patrick Harris, Donatella Arpaia and David Burtka (pictured above).
