Kick it off with Triple G, where the chefs face a challenge involving the express lane. Then, it’s a food truck throwdown on Food Network Star. The cast kicks off summer with a Diablo Stuffed Burger and two recipes for potato salad. Then, Kathie Lee Gifford stops by to make Peach and Rhubarb Crostata. Plus, there are tips on sprucing up your supermarket flower bouquet and simple recipes using pantry staples. The summer wouldn’t be complete without Perfect Pina Cocktail and The Kitchen’s beach bag must-haves.
Ree Drummond shares four vibrant recipes to celebrate the colors of summer. Her menu stars Asian Noodle Salad with purple cabbage and cilantro, golden Blueberry Nectarine Crisp, homemade Strawberry Ice Cream and, for a fizzy, refreshing drink, Ginger Lemonade Fizz.
Giada has arrived in Italy, and after opening up the holiday house, she heads to Sorrento to stock up on essential Italian ingredients. Then, she returns home to prepare a light meal inspired by the local goods. She makes Grilled Treviso with Citrus Bagna Cauda, Pan-Seared Branzino with Tomato and Capers and, to end her meal, Fresh Citrus with Gelato and Almond Cookies.
Daphne Brogdon teaches college girls how to cook, so she created affordable, easy and delicious meals. For weeknight meals, she makes Hearty Summer Pasta and a Flavorful Tofu Tostada. She also shares her super-simple Three-Ingredient Pea Soup and Ginger-Lime Granita.
A flip of the coin determines that four chefs must make their best dish using ingredients from only the even-numbered aisles. Then, the chefs must feature items from Flavortown Market’s sample tables when making an international dish. Finally, a dinner-party plate sounds easy enough, until the chefs are forced to go through the express lane.
Watch as the finalists take on their first challenge: to create a portable version of their favorite brunch dish and present it to Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay. Next, the finalists are paired into teams by guest judge Richard Blais. They must create a social-media promo for their own food trucks that will be shown to a crowd of food truck enthusiasts, who then can decide which food they want to taste. Don’t miss these challenges and see which finalist is sent home.
A group of chefs are on bouncy horses and face a biscuit-making challenge. Then, two chefs make chicken nuggets while in a stroller. Finally, the remaining chefs must battle it out with long tools and short legs.
