PHOTOS: Curtis Goes Behind the Scenes of Beach Eats USA in Instagram Takeover

Check out exclusive photos from Curtis as he goes behind the scenes of his new show, Beach Eats USA.

Sun, sand, surf — these are just part of the makings of a successful day at the beach. Let's not forget about the food. On his brand-new show,  Beach Eats USA, premiering today at 10:30|9:30c, Curtis Stone sets off on a coast-to-coast journey, delving into the best bites from waterside hot spots across the country. From succulent seafood selections to meaty favorites, Curtis is set to sample classic and creative fare from little-known eateries and beloved destinations near the shore.

Ahead of tonight's series premiere, Curtis took over Food Network's Instagram feed to share some of his favorite photos. These aren't the usual posed beauty shots you're likely expecting; think shrimp close-ups, wind-blown hair and even a broken toe.

Greetings from Florida

If Curtis' sneak peek of "Key lime pie, potato skins and beautiful fresh ceviche" is any indication, there will be no shortage of sweet and savory favorites on display this season.

Out of the Kitchen

It's not all cooking and eating on Beach Eats USA. The host took to the sidewalks of Venice, Calif., for a little skateboard — barefoot. He says he also managed "to zip line, standup paddleboard [and] surf."

Hazards of the Job

No matter the injury that came with Curtis' outdoor adventure, he was happy to be filming on location.

Did Someone Say "Shrimp"?

As you might expect, seafood is a tried-and-true favorite when at the beach. Curtis told fans, "For more #FoodPorn, you'll have to wait till ... my #BeachEatsUSA premiere."

Transportation by Water

Forget the car! Curtis is all about the beauty of boating when at the beach.
