This weekend, while you’re finishing off your holiday leftovers and deciding how many cookies is too many cookies, don’t miss four exciting premieres, including lots of Guy Fieri and a brand-new series. On Sunday morning, Guy is cooking up Mexican-inspired food with Chef Luigi Agostini, including Mexican Chile Pork Chops and Chayote Slaw with Cumin and Lime. And on Sunday night, catch the finale of Guy’s Grocery Games’ Tournament of Champions, when one of the chefs will become the biggest prizewinner in Grocery Games history. After that, it’s the premiere of the all-new series Cupcake Wars Kids with four junior bakers competing to create the best Scooby Doo-themed display and win $5,000. Then, Alton Brown auctions off tiny tools stuck in potato people on a new Cutthroat Kitchen.
Guy Fieri is mixing things up — he's got an Italian pizza chef, Luigi Agostini, helping him cook up some Mexican-inspired food in Northern California! On the menu: Mexican Chile Pork Chops, served on a Grilled Green Chile Sauce and topped with Pico de Gallo. For a side, Guy puts a Mexican spin on slaw with his Chayote Slaw with Cumin and Lime.
These two-time winners discover the road to victory won't be easy when they are forced to make a hearty lunch with a total of seven ingredients from the canned or frozen sections only! Then, they must prepare their best breakfast using odd items you'd never think of putting in a morning meal. The two remaining contenders bowl to determine which aisles they can shop.
Scooby Doo and the whole gang are piling into the Mystery Machine and heading to the Cupcake Wars kitchen to celebrate! Four junior bakers aged 9 to 14 battle for the chance to take their incredible cupcake display to a massive party celebrating Scooby Doo and walk away with $5,000. Kate Micucci, the voice of Velma, and Grey Griffin, the voice of Daphne, serve as guest judges.
