"There's Going to Be a Massive Geyser of Soda" — Alton's After-Show

Just when you thought you'd seen it all on Cutthroat Kitchen, Alton Brown unveiled a sabotage so downright diabolical that he and the judge of the day had to don not-so-special attire. In order to show off the sabotage to judge Antonia Lofaso during the After-Show, both she and he had to ditch their fancy show clothes for ones they wouldn't mind getting a bit, um, soaked.
The Round 3 ice cream float test called for two particularly evilicious challenges, but it was a literal soda fountain that walloped Chef Ian, who was saddled with the sabotage, as well as Alton and Antonia when they tried their hands at it. The host and the judge stood face to face with a line of 14 full two-liter soda bottles, each primed and ready to explode at the simple drop of a mint. "Well, I'm not going to get into the science of why," Alton told Antonia as they readied themselves to attempt to collect as much soda as they could via tiny glasses. Once the soda starting shooting up with a powerful force, it was only a matter of time until they found themselves covered with the liquid as they worked to catch as much as they could in their glasses.
In true After-Show fashion, it was only a matter of moments until Alton and Antonia put their own spins on the sabotage, resorting to any method necessary to get the job done — and ultimately engaging in a bit of a good-natured soda fight.
