Worst Cooks Boot Camp is getting a bakeover, as coaches Lorraine Pascale and Duff Goldman draft 12 of the most-disastrous bakers in the nation into the most-difficult culinary Boot Camp on Worst Bakers in America, premiering Sunday, Oct. 2 at 10|9c. Duff and Lorraine will attempt to mold two teams of catastrophic recruits into potential dessert impresarios, until two rise to the top to face off in one final challenge. With $25,000 on the line, these wannabe bakers better show off their sweeter side if they intend to beat the competition and survive six weeks of baking challenges.

In the premiere the recruits will learn that Boot Camp won't be a cakewalk, as Duff and Lorraine get down to business, assessing the contestants' skills with a baseline dessert challenge inspired by recipes on FoodNetwork.com. Then it's on to the basics, and the coaches teach the recruits how to make classic sugar cookies. Upcoming episodes will feature terrifying treats for Halloween, wedding cake decorating, pie contests, pet-inspired cakes and more. The season will come to a close when the two final recruits face off in the ultimate bakery battle. The one who has transformed the most will go home with the $25,000 grand prize — and earn his or her team leader bragging rights.
