Holiday Baking Championship Returns for a Sweet-Filled Third Season
Nothing says the holidays like cakes, pies, cookies and sweets, and this season, Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship will be churning out plenty of festive treats. The show returns on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 9|8c with nine bakers hoping to whisk, fold and frost their way to victory. The contestants will bake their way through culinary challenges as host Bobby Deen throws surprising twists at them along the way. Judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Lorraine Pascale will decide which baker serves up the most delicious and spirited desserts and deserved to win the title of Holiday Baking Champion and the grand prize of $50,000!
In the season premiere, the bakers must take classic seasonal drinks like apple cider, hot chocolate and eggnog and turn them into custom holiday confections. The winning dessert will give one baker an advantage in the next challenge, where the bakers will use their decorating skills to transform a Bunt cake into a holiday wreath.
Each week, fans can tune in to Duff Goldman’s original web series, Duff’s Sweet Spot, where he will share his take on the competition challenges and give tips to home cooks on making their own holiday desserts.
Christmas Day brings even more holiday treats: Bobby Deen hosts a special episode of Holiday Baking Championship where three past Holiday Baking Championship competitors and three fan favorites from Kids Baking Championship get back into the kitchen for a chance to take home a grand prize of $10,000.
