Peer into The Pioneer Woman's kitchen as Ree and Ladd cook together to celebrate date night. Tune in to get great ideas for a night in with your significant other and to watch the off-the-charts adorableness that happens when Ladd joins Ree in the kitchen.

“Ladd and I hardly ever have time to eat by ourselves at home,” says Ree. While the kids are out at a town function she gets the opportunity to turn up the heat in the kitchen. The menu includes Surf and Turf Skewers, made with with tenderloin steak and lobster tails. “This is not a dinner I would make if all the kids are home. This is definitely a date-night dinner,” says Ree, as she tosses together a homemade spice rub. She is also making a sauce for the skewers: Cajun Hollandaise. Hollandaise is a tricky sauce to get right and Ree makes it in the blender which helps the sauce not break. She tosses in Creole mustard and smoked paprika for some bite.

She also assembles a salad that a meat and potatoes man like Ladd will love. Her Wedge Salad is topped with cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and a creamy homemade buttermilk dressing. (While Ree uses romaine lettuce in the salad, any other sturdy lettuce would work great with the same recipe.) For dessert, Ree is making an adults-only Rummy Pineapple with fresh whipped cream.

Ladd joins Ree in the kitchen to grill the skewers and finish up the menu and that’s when things really get cookin’. While Ladd grills the skewers, he says to Ree, “As soon as you put it on it starts smelling good.” Ree turns to him and smiles, “It’s looking good too. You’re looking good too. Have you been working out?” She turns to the camera, obviously enjoying the fact that he is blushing. “Ladd is one of those guys that just gets more fit with each year that passes,” she says to the camera. Aw.
