Katie Lee makes Meaty Grilled Pizza, as seen on Food Network's The Kitchen

Grilling season is upon us, but the need for pizza is a year-round thing. Luckily for us, Katie Lee is offering up a hack for turning any outdoor grill into a pizza oven this Saturday on The Kitchen.

The secret? Just stack a few bricks on the grill and put a pizza stone on top. This allows the heat to circulate around and underneath the pizza, ensuring that the crust and toppings finish cooking at the same time.

"It’s like a convection grill," Sunny Anderson points out.

Katie uses the method to prepare a Meaty Grilled Pizza, topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onions, portabella mushrooms and smoked mozzarella. And the finished results get Geoffrey Zakarian’s stamp of approval.

"So good," he says. "I love a crisp crust. I like it crunchy."
