Banana Date Smoothie

If you like thicker smoothies, then freeze your bananas before you make this. Pro tip: For an even thicker and creamier smoothie, use Greek yogurt instead of almond milk.

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas (frozen, optional)

1/4 cup pitted dates (about 5 to 6) 

Juice from 1/2 lime 

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom 

2 cups almond milk 

Handful of ice cubes 

Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately
