3/4 cup old-fashioned oats

1/4 cup spelt flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons raw honey, melted

2 tablespoons coconut oil, plus more for greasing the ramekins

16 ounces fresh blackberries

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 1/2 tablespoons coconut sugar

3 tablespoons arrowroot powder

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly coat 2 cobbler ramekins with coconut oil.
  2. Stir together the oats, spelt flour and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add the honey and coconut oil and stir until completely incorporated.
  3. Carefully toss together the berries, lemon juice, coconut sugar, arrowroot powder and almond extract in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
  4. Transfer the berry mixture to the prepared ramekins, then evenly sprinkle the oat mixture on top.
  5. Bake until the juices bubble and the topping is crunchy, 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes to help the juices thicken.
