Blueberry and Dark Chocolate Breakfast Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 cup vanilla almond milk 

4 tablespoons chia seeds 

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 

1 tablespoon agave nectar 

1/2 banana 

One 6-ounce container yogurt 

Shaved dark chocolate, for serving 

Unsalted almond slices, for serving  

Directions

Special equipment:
Four small jars
  1. Add 1/4 cup of the blueberries to the bottom of each of four jars. In a medium bowl, combine the almond milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder and agave nectar. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Blend the banana, yogurt and 1/4 cup of the blueberries together in a blender or food processor until smooth. Layer the chia mixture into each jar and then top with the smoothie mixture. 
  3. Finish off with some shaved dark chocolate, almond slices and the remaining 1/2 cup blueberries.
