DIY Granola

Make your own customized granola at home! It's way easier than you think and it will save you a ton of money.

Ingredients

5 cups rolled oats

Any nuts you like (walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, almonds, etc.), as needed 

Any healthy additions you like (flaxseeds, etc.), as needed 

1/4 cup olive oil 

3/4 cup honey 

Any dried fruits you like (raisins, dates, cranberries, etc.) 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix together the oats, any nuts and healthy additions, oil and honey in a big bowl. Spread the mixture on a cookie sheet. Pop in the oven for 8 minutes. Stir around the mixture and pop it back in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes. When the oats are nice and brown, let cool and then add the dried fruit.
