How to Freeze Herbs

Don't let your herbs go to waste! This trick works for the tougher herbs like rosemary, oregano, thyme and sage, and keeps your herbs working for you longer.

Ingredients

Leftover fresh herbs, such as rosemary, oregano, thyme and sage

Ice cube tray 

Olive oil 

Directions

  1. Tear up the fresh herbs. Discard any woody stems.
  2. Place herbs in an ice cube tray. 
  3. Add enough olive oil to cover the herbs. 
  4. Pop the tray in the freezer to freeze.
