Overripe Avocado Smoothie

Don't let ripe avocados turn to mush. Even if they're slightly past their prime they're plenty good in a smoothie.

Ingredients

1 overripe avocado, peeled, pitted and mashed

1 frozen banana 

1/2 cup raw spinach 

1/2 cup peeled and cubed mango 

2 cups coconut water 

Directions

  1. Fill an ice tray with mashed avocado flesh. Freeze until solid, then place the avocado cubes in a resealable plastic bag and store in the freezer.
  2. Blend a few avocado cubes with the banana, spinach, mango and coconut water until smooth.
