Peanut Butter Kale Smoothie

Kale and peanut butter put this smoothie over the top. Flaxseeds make it even better.

Ingredients

1 banana, peeled and frozen

1/2 cup mixed frozen berries, plus more if needed

1 teaspoon flaxseeds

1 tablespoon peanut butter

1 cup vanilla almond milk, plus more if needed  

1 1/2 cups fresh kale  

Ice, as needed 

Directions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy.
  2. If the smoothie is too thick, blend in additional almond milk, as needed. If too thin, blend in more frozen berries or ice to thicken. 
  3. Serve immediately.
