How Jennifer Aniston Stays in Shape
It’s all about working out, eating right and sleeping well. (Of course!)

On the one hand, if you’re garnering admiring headlines for your toned beach body at age 49, you’re probably doing something right. On the other, we can all decide for ourselves how closely we want to hew to the advice of someone who loves sunbathing and disdains sunscreen.
A photo of a bright-blue-string-bikini-clad Jennifer Aniston catching some rays by a pool in Portofino, Italy, prompted People magazine to gush over her "killer abs." The celeb mag also took the opportunity to share the actress’s tips for keeping her body top form.
Aniston relies on an intense "yoga bootcamp" class and sessions with her personal trainer, telling the magazine she has of late gotten "back in the gym with my trainer, throwing heavy boulders around and pushing medicine balls and wiggling and shaking that big rope thing."
After a solid workout, Aniston said, she feels "really beautiful … because I’ve taken care of my body, my endorphins are going, my blood is pumping. I’m taking care of the one body I have."
But fitness for the star is also about diet and rest. Aniston says to eat "as much organic fruits and veggies as you can," and says she restricts sugar consumption, drinks "tons and tons of water," and makes sure to "get good sleep."
In other words, whether exposed to the sun or not, bikini bods like that take dedication.
