PEBBLES cereal is celebrating its 50th birthday this year, and Post, the makers of the iconic breakfast food, have come up with several ways for fans of the sweet treat to mark the special occasion.

The latest idea? A new PEBBLES Birthday Cake flavor for Dymatize ISO100 Protein Powder. Yes, that’s right, a protein powder that tastes just like the beloved cereal. According to a press release shared last month, this new item means “kids-at-heart can celebrate while still getting the benefits of protein.”

What’s more? This protein powder delivers 25 grams of whey protein per serving and is easy to mix into shakes and digest. It also just so happens to deliver “a sweet, indulgent flavor that every dessert lover craves.”

PEBBLES Birthday Cake protein powder, which is available in 1.6-lb and 5-lb tubs, went on sale at The Vitamin Shoppe earlier this month, but has already sold out online. Per some customer reviews, the protein powder “tastes exactly like melted birthday cake ice cream” and is especially delicious when mixed with almond milk.

However, those looking to get their hands on some PEBBLES protein powder shouldn’t despair just yet. It’s slated to be sold via other nationwide retailers, such as Amazon and BodyBuilding.com, next month.

“2021 marks the 50th birthday of PEBBLES cereal, and there’s nothing more festive than birthday cake,” explained Leah Broeders, head of Partnerships & Licensing at Post Consumer Brands. “We love that we get to share this celebratory PEBBLES Birthday Cake flavor with athletes through our partnership with Dymatize.”

Priya Kumar, Dymatize Director of Marketing, added: “We are always looking for fun, innovative flavors for our high-quality protein powders while still making sure we support fitness goals and a healthy diet. With every sip of our PEBBLES Birthday Cake protein powder, athletes can enjoy a bowl’s worth of flavor straight out of a shaker bottle.”

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Dymatize has collaborated with the PEBBLES brand. Last year, the nutrition supplement company debuted the Fruity and Cocoa PEBBLES-flavored protein powder in honor of the legendary brand’s upcoming birthday, and that variety has since become a fan favorite.

Aside from a protein powder, PEBBLES is celebrating its upcoming birthday with a new birthday cake-inspired cereal, a collection of bold and colorful Love Your Melon merch, and more.
