Halloween Cupcakes, Step by Step

Decorating these frightful (and delicious) werewolf cupcakes is easy with our step-by-step guide.

Step 1

You’ll need (clockwise from top) some cocoa powder, a marshmallow, some yellow chocolate-coated candies, a black jellybean, a red gumdrop, white fruity candies and a chocolate cupcake (and chocolate frosting and optional black decorating icing, not pictured).

Step 2

Snip ears out of the marshmallow, and dust each ear with cocoa powder.

Step 3

Use a garlic press (or a piping bag with a grass tip) to pipe very cold chocolate-frosting “fur” onto the cupcake.

Step 4

Keep going till your werewolf is super-furry.

Step 5

Attach the ears to the frosting ...

Step 6

... then the eyes ...

Step 7

... and then the nose and mouth.

Step 8

Add pupils to the eyes with black decorating icing (optional), and use white candies to make fangs ...

Step 9

... or give him a full set of teeth. Scary!
