Lenny McNab

An executive chef from Colorado, Lenny filmed the pilot Cowboy Up, which highlighted his culinary point of view as "the gourmet cowboy." After seeing that tape, fans wanted more, as they awarded him the most votes and ultimately the title of Food Network Star.

Discovering Lenny

After strutting his stuff on the premiere party red carpet, Lenny delivered a wow-worthy performance that Bob said left him "intrigued," and added, "I don't know what's character and what's real." Turns out, Lenny maintained his authentic cowboy perspective throughout the competition.

Planned Plate

All of the finalists were given journals to use during their runs in the competition, and Lenny filled his with inspirational words, thoughts on mentor feedback and ideas for challenge dishes. Here he detailed the steps needed to execute his Episode 1 party bite, fried lobster atop toast.

Securing a Win

With a performance that left the Committee and guest judge Alex Guarnaschelli in stitches, Lenny won the week-two Star Challenge. "This guy is fun," said Alex as Lenny explained the how-tos of his dish while maintaining personality.

A Plot on Lenny's Life

Lenny joked during the Cutthroat Kitchen-style challenge that his rivals had conspired against him to task him with peddling on a stationary bike to human-power a blender. "Every one of the finalists literally wants to see me go into cardiac arrest," Lenny said.

Meeting Goals

"Be a Star!" Lenny penned in his journal, followed immediately by, "I already am!"

Monster Lenny

Lenny worked on Team PayDay to create a viral YouTube video alongside Christopher and Aryen, but as an out-of-control monster, he simply stole the show. "I have never seen such dedication in a performer," Alton told him.

Born Performer

"Live entertainment is not a problem with me. I do it every single night at the ranch, sometimes even twice on Sunday," Lenny explained before the finalists' first-ever live demonstration at Knott's Berry Farm. Although Lenny accidently cooked the fish he wanted to demo, Bobby admitted, "The fish tacos are very tasty."

Pepper Profile

From habaneros and Thai chiles to Serrano peppers and Fresnos, Lenny jotted down facts and figures about several common peppers, which likely served to help him as he crafted a signature hot sauce in Episode 6.

Could Be Better

"Here I got nothing around me except green blankness, so I'm ramping up a little bit," Lenny said of his very expressive hot sauce commercial on a greenscreen set. Although his product was "delicious," according to Bobby, the mentors were disappointed that Lenny didn't incorporate his challenge location of The Great Wall of Challenge into the commercial.

Making Waves

It didn't take long for Lenny to make an impression in Las Vegas. After he wowed at the pool party with the most fan tokens — and a belly flop — Alton said to him, "Your lamb burger was perfectly handled. It was a winner dish. I got nothing to say to you other than you're pretty much the guy to beat here now."

Going Greek

Lenny incorporated the story of the Greek god Poseidon into his presentation of sea urchin in Episode 8, but his performance left Giada wondering: "I think Lenny's very good with lots of people. I think maybe he just can't get comfortable in this setting."

Camera Meltdown

Broadcasting live from Sohha Savory Yogurt in New York City's Chelsea Market, Lenny stumbled in his camera attraction, failing to make eye contact and missing messages from the mentors. "I have no idea what I'm rambling on about," he admitted.

"Wardrobe Malfunction"

Even though he accidently tore his trousers live on The Rachael Ray Show, Lenny managed to deliver a solid performance that fulfilled the task of being budget friendly, as Bobby said, "I think that he really answered all the questions that they had."

Cowboy Conundrum

In what would be the final-four contestants' last challenge, they had to film promos for their would-be Food Network shows, and Lenny wasted no time in showcasing Cowboy Up. He struggled to articulate his thoughts, however, and needed several attempts to fully communicate his ideas.

The Top 3

Lenny, along with Luca and Nicole, earned one of three top spots in the competition and the coveted opportunity to film show pilots.

Cowboy Up

Guest mentor Robert Irvine was on hand to work with Lenny on how to effectively command the camera during taping. In the finished pilot, Lenny crafted his go-to rib eye and presented it to guests at a local New York City restaurant.

Finale Emotions

"I feel better than a buttered biscuit right now," Lenny said at the finale. He and the rest of the cast gathered in New York City for a last look-back at the competition and to learn who would be Food Network's newest Star.

High Anxiety

After Nicole was sent home early in the episode, the competition became a two-man race with just Luca and Lenny vying for the win.

The Next Food Network Star

Lenny couldn't contain his emotions when Food Network's president, Brooke Johnson, revealed him to be the Season 10 winner of Food Network Star. He was overcome with smiles and tears as he graciously accepted the sought-after title.

A Match Made in Stardom?

Romance was in the air on set as several crushes bloomed throughout the season — including Lenny's conspicuous adoration of Giada. The two shared a dance at the end of the show.

Wardrobe Memento

Lenny had said that if he were to win the competition, he would gift his infamous oversize belt buckle to Alton, and sure enough, he kept his word.
