On their first day in Santa Monica, Tyler challenged the teams to sell $200 of their signature dish to gain an advantage in the race. Unfortunately the team came in last, selling only $20 worth of food.

Despite the rough start, the team was excited to move on to Lake Havasu. With just the $20 they earned and an additional $66 from Tyler, the team had to make every penny count when buying groceries.

Back inside the truck, Onel got ready to cook the authentic Cuban cuisine he learned from his parents. The menu included picadillo tacos and Cuban doughnuts for dessert.

The team's first day in Lake Havasu started out really strong. The Guava Tree Truck team members were selling in close proximity to their fellow teams by the original London Bridge, no less.

Another roadblock came when the team's generator blew out. Although not a mechanic, Onel took to fixing the situation as fast as he could so they could get back to cooking.

The Guava Tree Truck

On elimination day, The Guava Tree Truck ended up in the bottom two alongside Pho Nomenal Dumplings. But moving on to Flagstaff, Ariz., wasn't in The Guava Tree Truck's future, and it was the end of the road for Onel, Pam and Mariah.
