Hailing from the cornfields of Nebraska, A.K. Carroll is a lover of words, wine, tiny spoons and tasty food who covers food trends, cocktail culture, platforms for change and the stories of artists and other ambitious people. She lives in the Bay Area of California, but left her heart in Kansas City, Missouri. Her work has appeared in Edible East Bay, 7x7, Fodor's Travel and San Francisco magazine, among other publications.
