Chocolate Egg Cream

5 fluid ounces seltzer water

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

3 tablespoons whole milk

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Place the chocolate syrup, milk and vanilla extract in a tall glass and stir well with a spoon to combine. Continue to stir furiously while adding the seltzer water to prevent foam; serve immediately. 

Cook’s Note

For the best results, make sure the milk and seltzer are well chilled.
