Peel 4-5 strips of zest from the orange and lemon each. Place strips in pot with cinnamon sticks, cloves and water. Bring to a boil and simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add tea bags.
Cover pot and steep 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Stir in sugar or honey to taste and let tea cool.
To serve, slice orange and lemon crosswise into thin rounds. Place a few sprigs mint in each glass and muddle briefly.
Add ice, tea and a few slices citrus. Garnish with fresh mint and serve.
