Cowboy Cumin Kebabs with Onions and Baby Peppers with Bush's Texas Ranchero Grillin' Beans

2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1 Tbsp chili powder

2 Tbsp light brown sugar

2 tsp cumin

1 tsp finely grated orange zest

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 1/2 pounds beef tri-tip, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes

1 large sweet onion, cut into 1 1/2-2-inch dice

12 assorted color baby bell peppers, cored and halved

Vegetable oil

  1. Mix butter, chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, orange zest, 1 tablespoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper together in a bowl. Add the beef, toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Prepare a grill with high heat. Thread the beef, onions and peppers onto 8 long skewers, leaving 1/4-inch space between the meat pieces. Lightly brush grates with oil. Arrange skewers on grill; grill, turning until the meat is medium-rare each side, about 2-3 minutes on each of the 4 sides. Transfer to platter; serve with Bush's® Texas Ranchero Grillin' Beans®.
