Creamy Homemade Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon

1 pkg. (16 oz.) elbow macaroni, uncooked

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

1 onion, chopped

2 Tbsp. flour

3 cups milk

½: cup MIRACLE WHIP® Dressing

1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

¼ cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

2 tsp. Sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)

8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled


  1. Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 2 min. or until golden brown. Stir in flour; cook 2 min., stirring constantly. Whisk in milk, then dressing. Bring just to simmer, stirring constantly; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until thickened. Add cheeses and Sriracha sauce; cook and stir 2 min. or until shredded cheese is melted. Drain macaroni. Add to sauce with bacon; mix lightly. Substitute: Prepare using MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing. Special Extra : Stir in 3 cups fresh spinach before serving.
