Honey Apple Glazed Carrots

1 tablespoon butter

10 baby carrots

2/3 cup unsweetened apple juice

1 teaspoon honey

Salt and pepper


  1. Peel the carrots and trim the tops. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add carrots to the skillet and saute until the carrots begin to brown slightly, about 8 minutes. Add apple juice and honey and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until carrots are tender and liquid is reduced to glaze, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.;
