1 small loaf French bread, sliced into 1/2-inch slices

4 tablespoons olive oil

Kosher salt and ground black pepper

1 garlic clove, smashed


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place bread slices on a baking sheet. Rub smashed garlic clove over each side.
  3. Brush the slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden and toasted.
