Poker Nuts

Ingredients

1 egg white

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

6 cups nuts of your choice

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg white. Add the chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and sugar and continue whisking. Add the nuts to the bowl and toss together until the nuts are completely coated. Spread the nuts out onto a pre-greased sheet pan and bake them for 15 minutes or until well toasted.

These nuts are soooo good, and addicting! I package them and give as gifts during the holidays with the recipe attached. I use two egg whites so that the spices stay on well - you'll have to break them apart after they cool, but it makes them BETTER! You should give them a try......(o:
