Summer Squash

Ingredients

1 cup dill, chopped

Olive oil, to taste

5 summer squash, cut in 1/2

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan.
  2. Finely chop a small handful of dill and mix with olive oil. Rub the mixture over the squash halves, and grill for 5 minutes. Flip and grill for a few more minutes on the other side.
  3. Cooking times depend on various factors most importantly the coal base and heat coming off those coals.

So this recipe was really easy. I don't think you need a whole cup of the dill. <br />It took longer than 5 minutes per side for a Large squash (I'm talking like softball sized. It was more like 8 per side.) <br />We also used a green Squash and and this was a normal sized like a small cucumber and this was perfect at 3 min. per side. <br />The dill was very subtle.
