Ingredients
1 1/4 pounds ground beef
1/2 onion
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 ounce tomato paste
8 cups water
3 1/2 teaspoon paprika
6 teaspoon chili powder
Directions
- Simmer onions and garlic sauce for one hour. Add other ingredients. Cool then add breadcrumbs until texture desired.
Cook’s Note
This Texas sauce is especially good on hot dogs (topped with hot peppers, hot relish, and a creamy cheddar sauce) but it can also be served with burgers or on its own as a sloppy joe variation.
