Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients

1 avocado, peeled, halved and pitted

1 frozen peeled banana, cut into 2-inch chunks

1 1/2 cups blueberries 

1 cup coconut water 

1 cup frozen chopped collard greens

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks 

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice 

1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 

Directions

  1. Special equipment: a high-powered blender, optional
  2. In a carafe of a high-powered blender, combine the avocado, banana, blueberries, coconut water, collard greens, pineapple, lime juice and ginger. Blend until thick and creamy.
