Island Creek Oyster Bar is connected to the nearby eponymous oyster farm, and is renowned for its slightly sweet, delicate, lightly briny bivalves. The raw bar features 14 oysters, plus two crudos, a half Maine lobster, a towering shellfish platter for four, clams, and shrimp cocktail, for good measure. Sure, there’s a menu full of hot food, too, with chicken, lobster and steak, among other goodies, but shellfish lovers tend to park at the raw bar with a platter and some bubbly.
