Making dinner for a group of friends doesn't have to sap you of all your time and energy. Alex shows how pork tenderloin with "built in" vegetables can be quick and delicious. Gooey cheese sandwiches, a wilted bourbon salad, and a simple, but beautiful pear dessert finish the meal perfectly.

Early Morning Breakfast
All of your favorite morning dishes will be completely transformed by Chef Alex Guarneschelli. Alex slices thick cuts of bacon and dredges them in brown sugar and spices. It pairs perfectly with simple fried eggs and crispy toast soldiers. And, in an act of ridiculousness, Alex melts a wheel of cheese on a bed of crispy hash browns. For drinks, a muddled screwdriver makes it the perfect early morning breakfast.

Dinner on the Grill
Alex brings the grill inside. Mussels tossed on the grill and stuffed with savory breadcrumbs are brightened with a splash of lemon. A yogurt-marinated chicken slathered with pungent harissa teams up with grilled radicchio in a honey glaze. Plus, Alex's take on the grape spitzer-gorgeous and super refreshing.

Childhood Tastes
Alex brings to life some of her favorite childhood recipes. A simple strip steak is transformed into a crispy, juicy, delicious masterpiece and topped with a green peppercorn brandy sauce. For sides, Alex slathers carrots in molasses and butter, then bakes and fries fingerling potatoes. And for dessert, a ricotta cake is topped with chocolate and lemon zest.

Lunch with Friends
Alex loves cooking for her friends. She makes one of her favorite dishes from the restaurant - a pan-fried pesto pizza with mozzarella and parmesan. Alex serves the pizza with a colorful bibb radish salad topped with bacon dressing. For appetizers, Alex serves beer battered shrimp wrapped in basil and topped with just the right hint of salt. She'll toast with her friends over a chilled apple cider drink with sparkling Cava wine.

Dinner Just Because
Alex takes the everyday meal and makes it special. Alex shows us how easy it is to blacken salmon. And she serves it with the most perfectly seasoned basmati rice and baked squash topped with browned butter. To finish up, a delicious citrus pomegranate dessert topped with a spectacular baked meringe.
