Family Style is the new docu-series that follows siblings Joey and Melissa Maggiore as they each open restaurants in the San Diego area. Joey is opening the flagship restaurant in his chain of barbecue restaurants. Melissa is auditioning executive chefs for her full service eatery. Will Joey be able to open after he is unexpectedly pulled away from his restaurant? And how will Melissa respond when one of her chef candidates asks her out on a date?

The Grand Opening
Brother and sister Joey and Melissa Maggiore have worked in the restaurant business all their lives. But this time, instead of working at one of their Dad's Italian restaurants, they want to strike out on their own. But working together proves extremely difficult for these two hard-headed siblings. As the grand opening of their upscale restaurant in Carlsbad, California approaches, they realize neither the kitchen nor the wait staff is ready. To complicate matters, their competing pranks begin to get out of hand. A thirty foot tall gorilla. A fake photo shoot. Who will get the last laugh? And will they be able to pull it all together for the big opening night?

Rappin' Restaurant
Melissa Maggiore wants to create some buzz around Tommy V's, the posh restaurant she and her brother Joey have just opened in Carlsbad, California. Melissa decides to invite all the town's movers and shakers to a VIP wine tasting complete with an delicious menu of fried zucchini blossoms, seafood risotto and lamb osso bucco. But Joey's idea leans more to the extravagant and he thinks a crazy TV commercial will create bigger buzz than a fancy dinner. So he secretly recruits his cousin Jimmy to help him create a rap video about Tommy V's. Knowing that Melissa will kill the commercial unless she sees that other people like it, Joey waits until the middle of the party to roll out a giant TV to play it for the honored guests. Is it a hit or a huge embarrassment

VIPs (Very Important Parties)
It's time to party down! Sister and brother, Melissa and Joey Maggiore have two very important parties to plan for their families - a rehearsal dinner at Tommy V's AND a birthday party at Melissa's house. What should be a piece of cake falls flat when the future bride decides she wants to host a Mexican fiesta in Melissa and Joey's fine Italian restaurant. And while Melissa battles Bridezilla, Joey is digging a huge hole in her backyard to pit roast a whole lamb - for their kids!

Big Dates
Business is slow at Tommy V's so Melissa and Joey Maggiore set up a speed-dating event to attract a young, hip clientele. Joey hopes the event will help his shy cousin Jimmy get lucky with the ladies. And, always the prankster, he secretly signs Melissa up for the event as well.

Smokin' Joey
Joey Maggiore wants to be the king of barbecue. While he's proud of his Italian heritage, his passion for barbecue is all-American. So what's a future heavy weight to do? Compete. But before he competes, he wants to test out his new sauce. Great idea! Setting up a giant smoker in front of Tommy V's so customers can test his ribs? Very bad idea.

The Big Bet
Melissa Maggiore wants her brother Joey to cook for a private dinner charity event. Joey wants no part of it, so Melissa makes a bet. They'll each create a new dish for Tommy V's menu and their father Tomaso will judge who has the best dish. If Melissa wins, Joey must cook the charity dinner. If Melissa loses, she's got to wash dishes all night. Either way, somebody's going to end up with the dirty work.
