Food Network Star, Season 10: Top Moments of the Finale

Finale Reunion

Before Lenny, Nicole and Luca learn who among them will be crowned the next Food Network Star, they look back on what Giada called "a really dramatic season" with their previously eliminated rivals and the Selection Committee.

Initial Thoughts

"I feel better than a buttered biscuit right now," Lenny reveals at the beginning of the show. He, Luca and Nicole, while surely nervous inside, do their best to remain outwardly calm as they await the results.

Just a Trim

All of the finalists are featured in mash-up videos highlighting their top moments — and, at times, their struggles — in the competition. For Reuben, that includes a never-before-seen tape of him getting his beard trimmed. He reveals that he made the change to satisfy both his mom and Alton.

Mentor Impressions

As the group reviews the judges' feedback over the course of 10 weeks, Nicole admits, "You need to hear that in order to grow." She has received both hearty praises and no-nonsense critiques during her run in the contest.

Long-Standing Beef

Chris and Sarah found themselves at odds in Episode 7 when he refused to share any of his beef tenderloin with her. After they rewatched what went down, the two managed to smile through the disagreement.

First to Fall

Before the new Star is crowned, Bob prepares to reveal the second runner-up. Tensions are high on set as Lenny, Luca and Nicole await word on their futures.

End of the Journey

Nicole learns that despite an impressive rise to the top in the competition and a distinctive view on food, she has not earned enough fan votes to become the next Food Network Star. Emma, one of Nicole's closest friends from the contest, is quick to console her with a hug.

Taking It In

As the season's most-hilarious moments unfolded on screen, Giada couldn't help but laugh at the cast's unpredictable antics.

Show Your Smile

In a brand-new scene that didn't make it on-air, Luca is seen practicing his smile with hilarious expressions — which he continued to do on the set of the finale.

Culinary Romance

Throughout the season, Sarah's been upfront about her affection toward Bobby, but she isn't the only finalist to admire a mentor. Lenny's been infatuated with Giada since day one, and during the finale, the group talks on-set crushes.

Kindred Spirits

"I feel at ease around her," Luca explains of Giada and the special bond they share as Italian-born chefs.

Chris honored the momentous day with a haircut of stars around the back of his head.

Judges As Contestants

A Star fan asks the mentors which challenge they'd find the most difficult if they were competing. While Bobby and Giada agree that Episode 6's product-focused commercial would be trying, Alton, the host of Cutthroat Kitchen, shockingly reveals that the Cutthroat-style battle would have likely done him in.

Who better to welcome a new Star to the Food Network family than Food Network's president, Brooke Johnson? She has the esteemed honor of announcing this year's winner.

Moment of Truth

Supported by their fellow contestants, Lenny and Luca await the results of the finale vote; in mere moments one will be named Food Network's newest Star.

Cowboy Congratulations

After an 11-week journey that included stops in three cities, plus multiple live challenges and tense moments of mentor feedback, Lenny learns that he has won Food Network Star and will join the ranks of Alton, Bobby and Giada. He's overcome with emotion and immediately drops to his knees in gratitude.

A Dream Comes True

Lenny's made it clear that he's been hoping for a dance with Giada, and sure enough, the opportunity comes after the show. The two share a few steps in the middle of the stage.

First Runner-Up

Although Luca didn't claim the win, his Star journey was no less impressive, as he not only bested fellow rivals to win Star Salvation and return to the competition, but he also lasted long enough to earn a spot among the final three.
