Episode 1: Kitchen Essentials

Robert puts the contestants' basic culinary chops to the test by challenging them to perform a series of seemingly simple tasks — crack one dozen eggs, break down a whole chicken, julienne two carrots, clean six shrimp and make garlic paste from a single head of garlic — in just 15 minutes. Episode 1: Explaining Himself

"I don't know how well I'm going to do at this because I am not a professional chef, but Robert is going to understand why I'm here," Andres says, before clarifying his cooking-as-empowerment outlook.
