Where to Find the Best Ginormous Food in Cleveland
Josh Denny visited local hot spots across Cleveland to experience some of the city's most-massive eats. Find out which restaurants he went to and what he tasted.
Tipping the scales at a full 12 pounds, this next-level sausage sandwich surely lives up to its name of The Polish Big Boy. There's no fewer than 4 feet of kielbasa packed onto this sandwich, but the meat is just the beginning; there's also a mountain of fries, homemade barbecue sauce and a cool coleslaw happening on top.
The Godzilla Roll isn't your everyday sushi order. Stretching 22 inches long, this breaded and fried sushi roll is filled with crab salad, spicy tuna and avocado, among other fresh fixings. And to finish? A trio of sauces, including a creamy, spicy mayonnaise drizzle.
Greek Village Grille
Meet the Mt. Olympus Gyro. This super-stuffed pita, which reaches a whopping 10 inches high, features a base of three succulent meats — chicken, pork and lamb — along with a bounty of toppings stuffed rolled inside a pita. The scratch-made garlicky tzatziki sauce is an essential pick, and it's paired with fresh tomatoes, onions and crispy fries to create a hearty combination.
