Food Truck Challenge

For the next challenge, each celebrity must prepare a dish to serve out of a food truck to 100 people. But this time they will be judged individually and by the end two will be eliminated. They have 1 hour and 45 minutes to cook and two hours to serve customers, who will get to vote on their single favorite dish. One surprise guest will have a golden ticket worth five votes. First, each team must choose a concept from the board: Tiny Italian, Mighty Mexico, Ragin' Asian or Comfort Cruiser.

What Kind of Food Will It Be?

Since Team Rachael won the last challenge, they have the advantage of choosing their food truck concept first. With Rachael's suggestion, they choose Comfort Cruiser, which will allow each of them to cook dishes that are in their wheelhouses. Dean has the remaining three to choose from, but he feels the least comfortable with Mexican.

Listen Up

Since he's big on Mexican food, Guy thinks Dean should choose Mighty Mexico. Guy's confident that Dean can pull it off even though Dean feels Mexican food isn't his strong suit.

Dean's Triple-Pork Tacos

Guy and Dean decide on pork tacos made with pork shoulder, pork belly and chorizo. Dean starts the dish by liberally seasoning the meat. He'll have to use a pressure cooker to speed up the cooking process.

Hines' Chili Cheese Dogs

Hines decides to make chili cheese dogs, which are his son Jaden's favorite. He'll top the hot dogs with cheddar cheese and his special Asian-influenced chili, flavored with soy sauce and brown sugar.

Carnie's Makin' Meatballs

Carnie's mixing up her meat but she has yet to form it into meatballs. She's worried she might not have enough time to make the gravy and mashed potatoes.

Cramped Kitchen

Kathy's hogging all the burners for making her Middle Eastern-inspired mac 'n' cheese. She's got pasta boiling and she's making a bechamel sauce. There's not enough room for Hines to make both batches of his chili, so he ends up running back and forth to use one of Dean's burners.

Time Management

Rachael stops by Carnie's station to see how she's doing. Carnie is frazzled because she's running out of time to make the mashed potatoes. Rachael recommends she peel all the potatoes first and then cut them up instead of doing them one at a time.

Customer Service

It's almost time to start serving customers, so Guy gives Dean a few tips on how to set up an assembly line and how to mingle with the guests at the same time he serves them.

Comin' Right Up

Carnie's serving up her meatballs and she's got a good handle on everything, but she's realizing she might not have enough to feed all 100 people, so she starts cutting the meatballs in half.

Here Ya Go

Hines is having a ball mingling with the customers, who are so excited to see him. He even gets a request for a dance number, but he's too busy serving up his chili cheese dogs to do a demo.

Nacho Deano

Unfortunately, Dean ran out of time and wasn't able to serve all the customers in line. About 30 people didn't get to try his tacos. He hopes that those who did get to eat his food will vote for him.

The Perfect Bite

Dean's tacos were a hit with Rachael and Guy. Rachael had no criticisms at all. The only thing that Guy worried about was Dean's perfectionism, which prevented him from serving everyone in time.

A Surprise Guest

Season 1 champion Lou Diamond Phillips stops by to sample the celebrities' food truck offerings. He's got a golden ticket worth five votes. But who will he give it to?

Constructive Criticism

No dish was without criticism in this challenge. Many people thought that Dean's tacos were too complicated, that Kathy's mac 'n' cheese was sort of soupy, that the hot dogs in Hines' chili cheese dogs had no snap, and that the mashed potatoes overwhelmed Carnie's meatballs.

A Double Elimination

Rachael and Guy congratulate the celebrities on all their hard work. They did a fantastic job of pulling off a pretty tough challenge. The single winner of the challenge will go straight through to the finale. The bottom three will be up for a double elimination.

A Team Divided

Rachael and Guy announce that Dean won the challenge and received the golden ticket from Lou Diamond Phillips. This means the members of Team Rachael must compete against one another in the final challenge. They must create their best dish on a stick in 20 minutes.

Hines' Surf and Turf

Hines decides to make steak, shrimp and vegetables on a stick. He'll try to incorporate everything that he's learned about presentation and flavor. A bit of soy sauce is his magic touch. He makes sure to saute the shrimp quickly so as not to overcook them.

Carnie's Keeping It Simple

Carnie's making beef kebabs, which she marinated in olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar and Sriracha. She also makes a salsa with avocado to accompany the beef.

Kathy's Cooking on the Fly

Kathy's made dessert on a stick. She started cooking without a plan and ended up grabbing pound cake, which she decided to grill with a glaze she came up with on the spot. She also grilled pineapple and peaches. Dean helps her put the finishing touches on her plate.

And Then There Were Two

Rachael and Guy didn't find any of the dishes they tasted to be a landslide victory. They thought Hines' shrimp was undercooked, Kathy's dish was underportioned and Carnie's was overportioned. In the end, they agreed that Carnie's dish was the best overall. Dean and Carnie will compete in the finale.
