For a group that had never met before, these kids formed a fast bond right away in Episode 1; they helped one another out when completing their cooking challenge came down to the wire.

In Episode 2, the kids' senses were put the test. It all came down to using their taste, feel and smell to guess food samples while blindfolded. The kids' guesses left mentors Rachael and Guy in stitches.

Capturing the Moment

Guy took the opportunity to take a photo of the kids for the sake of posterity, but mostly because he couldn't stop laughing at the faces they were making. It proves adults can act like kids too.

Facing Their Food Fears

Trying to make kids eat foods they don't like is often an exercise in futility. But in Episode 3 the kids were made to cook the foods they don't like and then try it.

Kids Will Be Kids

Some kids claimed to have changed their tune after trying their disliked creations, but after sampling her own Brie pancakes, Madison's wincing wasn't the most convincing.

Retro Remake

In Episode 3 the kids were randomly assigned classic dishes from back in the day to reinvent. But first they had to taste the dish. Surprisingly most liked what they tasted: Finn couldn't help eating all the maraschino cherries off the ambrosia.

Southern Showmanship

Later in that episode the kids were tasked with cooking Southern dishes, and Finn stole the show with his presentation. He turned on the charm with a Southern accent that had Rachael smiling from ear to ear.

Impressing Robert Irvine: Impossible?

In Episode 5, Robert was on hand to coach and judge the kids' mini challenge, which included unscrambling a "messipe" — a messed-up recipe. Team Rachael contestants even came equipped with capes and aviator sunglasses to show their pride.

Blast from the Past

Team Guy couldn't stay out of the fun. Decked out with leather gloves and hats at the end of the show, they warranted an "OMG" from Guy. Team Rachael's Lauren couldn't help but say, "What is this, the '80s?"

All Good Things Come to an End

On their last day cooking in the RvG kitchen for their food festival finale, Lauren realizes it's the last time they'll all be together. "I've made such a bond with everyone," she says, finding it difficult to say goodbye.

And the RvG Champion Is ...

After all the kids have presented to the crowd of festivalgoers, the guest judges convene and reveal that Gibson's show concept and his East Coast fusion dish blew them away. Gibson wins his own Web series.
