Pronunciation: [WAY-vohs rahn-CHEH-rohs]
Spanish for "rancher's eggs," although the more common translation is "country" or "country-style" eggs. Huevos rancheros consists of fried corn tortillas topped with fried eggs and then a layer of salsa.
