An adored Golden Globe award-winning actress and best-selling author, Valerie Bertinelli’s long and celebrated career has expanded to include equally beloved spokesperson, Emmy Award winning host, business entrepreneur and New York Times best-selling author. Her most recent cookbooks include best-sellers “One Dish At A Time” and “Valerie’s Home Cooking.”

Bertinelli stars in her own show on Food Network entitled “Valerie’s Home Cooking,” where she shares her passion for preparing delicious meals for her friends and family. Bertinelli won two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Culinary Program and Outstanding Culinary Host for “Valerie’s Home Cooking.” She also stars in “Kids Baking Championship” alongside Duff Goldman, to find the most impressive and creative young baker in the country.

A two-time Golden Globe Award-winning actress, Bertinelli first became a household name for her role as Barbara on CBS' long-running series “One Day at a Time.” For six seasons, she starred as Melanie Moretti in TV Land’s acclaimed sitcom “Hot in Cleveland.” In August 2012, Bertinelli received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In January 2020, Bertinelli became a Special Correspondent for ‘Start TODAY with Valerie Bertinelli’ on the Today Show. To kick off the new year, Valerie began a journey to find personal joy both inside and out, including making healthy choices with food and changing the way of thinking about her body.
