Ingredients

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Position a cooling rack over a foil- or parchment-lined baking sheet (for easy clean up). Lay the strips of bacon on the rack and place in the oven to bake for 6 to 8 minutes.

Sprinkle each strip with brown sugar and bake until the sugar melts and caramelizes and the bacon is crispy, another 6 to 8 minutes; don't let them burn. Remove from the pan and lay on the cooling rack to solidify and come to an eat-able temperature.

Resist the temptation to eat all of them yourself.

Had 10 family/loved ones over. They INHALED this bacon. I did have to cook it longer during the first step (w/o the brown sugar to get the crispness we liked.

Yum! I forgot to bake the bacon on a cooling rack so it just sat in its juices. The brown sugar made a crunchy layer on top and the bacon did come out very crispy. It was delicious!!! The only bad part about the recipe is that we ate way too much!

So delicious! I would cook it a bit longer next time though as I like my bacon very crispy. But the sweet brown sugar with the salty pork flavor is perfect!
