Ingredients
- 1 large onion, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper
Directions
Place all ingredients in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour.

Loved loved this, just made big pot pinto beans and these onions were wonderful topping. I did tweak a little though used apple cider vinegar(had in pantry ,and added pinch red pepper flakes, garlic salt, used fresh parsley. Thank you Mr. flay.
