Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 head napa cabbage, cleaned and sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
Directions
In a large saute pan over medium-high heat, add the canola oil and heat. Add the onion, garlic and ginger and saute, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the cabbage and cook until just starting to wilt, about 2 minutes. Add the soy sauce and rice vinegar and stir well and cook just until cabbage is wilted, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and drizzle with the sesame oil.

I love this dish. I just made it for lunch and love it so much I have eaten what amounts to a half head of cabbage! Only ingredient I didn't have was the ginger, and I added some crushed red pepper flakes. It's excellent!.......just saw that I never posted my review so now I'm going to add to it. I make this dish very often and I love it. I add extra veggies from colorful bell peppers to asparagus and snow peas - whatever I have in the fridge. I also use Bragg's amino acids instead of soy. Love it! Having it tonight with fish!

I love love this recipe, I've been trying for the longest time to stir fry cabbage now I feel like a pro. I put some mushrooms in mind along with chicken...quite lovely. I will keep the recipe for forever, thank's food network.

Delicious! Wow! This is definitely a keeper. I served it with grilled chicken and short grain brown rice. Next time I make it I will throw in some snap peas or another green vegetable for color, although its perfect without it.
