Full Episode Guide
  • The chefs must find how to use a soup and Italian side dish in their flickering chocolate desserts. In the second test, the chefs are presented with a cuddly inspiration and a sticky surprise which Chef Ron Ben-Israel hopes they can use to create lovable candy desserts. The two chefs who advance to the final test must come up with a fluid plan for creating water-inspired cakes from a strange Japanese candy and grape leaves.

  • Chef Ron's surprisingly conceptual first inspiration sends our master pastry chefs down a dark path: Will they see the light and figure out how to effectively utilize sweet fruit filling and chorizo in their chocolate desserts? In the candy test, a marionette inspires the chefs to display their masterful techniques with pizza dough and chicory coffee. And a symbol of peace and hope appears overhead for the final test, but it does little to ease anxiety, as the finalists rush to make incredible cakes from a sticky spread and a colorful veggie.

  • The chefs are aflutter with excitement when the fluttering inspiration for the first test is revealed: butterflies! On a wing and a prayer, the chefs try to create amazing frozen desserts with candied ginger and squid ink as mandatory ingredients. Then the remaining chefs' Desserts I.Q.'s are tested with a baked desserts competition, featuring a luminescent inspiration and a gelatinous ingredient. And during the final face-off, the two chefs left must create chocolate desserts inspired by a favorite childhood amusement and including a fowl ingredient. When they present their last desserts, will they feel like sitting ducks before Chef Ron Ben-Israel?

  • It is Halloween time, time for everyone's favorite Sweet Genius to stir up some devilish trouble in his World of Desserts. Chef Ron's first Halloween inspiration is bound to get the chefs' blood racing, as they race to put together chocolate desserts from an Asian drink and dried fungi. In the second test, a haunting apparition inspires the chefs to use onions and a strongly flavored novelty candy to impress Chef Ron. Then, with $10,000 at stake, a creepy critter crawls on the scene to scare the chefs into action: Who will be most successful with black radishes and mini ice cream cones in the final test?
